An open mic series for all types of musicians to perform original or improvisational music as well as covers -- either solo or with others -- and to share their talents with a community of musicians.
In addition to offering a concert hall stage, the Open Stage series will give performers access to multiple instruments including a piano and a drum set to encourage ensemble performances and jam sessions, as well as a full sound system. Musicians can bring their own instruments or they can use ours. Open Stage events will also be streamed live on livlivemusic.com and a video of the show will be available to performers for purchase.
Open Stage is BYOB. BCM will provide cups and bottle openers.
Performers should arrive at the event a half hour early at 6:30pm to sign up.
Performers are allowed 2 songs or a 10-minute time slot.
